What does that mean for humans?
In a world where most processed foods contain sugar in the form or sucrose, fructose or high fructose corn syrup, it’s almost impossible to avoid sugar in one or another of its forms. It means that since just 100 years ago, Americans have increased their typical sugar consumption nearly 20 fold – often without even realizing it.
